"The Duel" is carved from coveted sinker cypress: larger logs from the cypress tree that sank during transport, and were submerged for a century or more! Those old-timey loggers' loss is our gain. Sinker cypress is known for its dense grain and beautiful patina, which we've played up by hand-polishing this piece with tung oil.
